By accepting this Notice for your use of Nao Now Tutoring, you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. ‍

Welcome to Nao Now! The online privacy and safety of our students is very important to us. This direct privacy notice describes our practices involving the online collection, use, and disclosure of personal information obtained from students in connection with our Nao Now online educational service.

We may share or otherwise disclose the personal information we collect from our students as described below and in the Nao Now Privacy Policy:

Mentors: Students can schedule and take lessons with mentors through video chat sessions. During the session, the mentor will receive the student's first name and be able to access the student's English learning progress in order to offer feedback. The Nao Now Site does not otherwise enable students to make personal information available to others or publicly available. Lessons are recorded on Zoom for teacher monitoring and potential advertising purposes.

Service Providers: We share personal information with third-party service providers, contractors, or agents to assist us in making the Nao Now Site available or to help us improve the Nao Now Site, such as by providing video services, database hosting and data storage.

Payment: Payment will occur through a third-party payment system (e.g., Stripe). Our payment plans will be charged to a Student account on a monthly (or as otherwise designated) basis. Through our Payment Plans, you are signing up for an auto-renewing subscription requiring recurring payments and you agree to pay the amount designated for your particular Payment Plan on a renewing basis. You will be charged the first recurring payment on the date of the registration for the Payment Plan, and you will then be charged on a recurring basis until you cancel the Payment Plan or we terminate it. If a payment is not successfully settled, due to expiration, insufficient funds, or otherwise, and you do not cancel your account, we may suspend your access to the Nao Now Platform until we have successfully charged a valid payment method. You may cancel a Payment Plan at any time in your account settings. You must cancel a Payment Plan before it renews to avoid billing of the next installment under your particular Payment Plan.

Mobile Services: Use of the Nao Now App may require usage of data services provided by your wireless service carrier. You acknowledge and agree that you are solely responsible for data usage fees and any other fees that your wireless service carrier may charge in connection with your use of the App.

Business Transactions: In the event of a merger, sale of capital stock or assets, reorganization, capital investment, consolidation or similar transaction (or the due diligence in contemplation thereof) involving Nao Now, the information we possess, including personal information collected from students, shall be transferred as a corporate asset to the acquiring entity. We will notify you via email and/or post a prominent notice on our Nao Now Site of any change in ownership or uses of personal information, as well as any choices you may have regarding your personal information.

Legal Compliance: We will use and disclose personal information collected from students where we, in good faith, believe that the law or legal process (such as a court order, search warrant or subpoena) requires us to do so or in other circumstances where we believe it is necessary to protect the rights, property, or personal safety of Nao Now, our users and/or third parties.

We may share aggregated, de-identified data relating to activity on the Nao Now Site with third parties or the general public for advertising with student consent. By way of example only, this may include the provision of reports regarding student engagement with the Nao Now Site and/or English learning progress for such purposes as educational research, to evaluate the educational benefit of using the Nao Now Site, to improve the Nao Now Site, or to show the efficacy and usage when marketing the Nao Now Site. Such aggregated, de-identified data will not contain any personal information from students.

We do not share or disclose student personal information for marketing purposes, including to third parties for their own direct marketing purposes.

Subscriptions: All classes must be used within your subscription period. All plans renew automatically. You can cancel your renewal at any time. Subscriptions must be cancelled prior to the renewal date to avoid charge.

Refund Policy:

Refunds are only possible after the first lesson, no refunds after the second lesson.

Nao Now is committed to finding a suitable solution instead of a refund, and customers If you wish, we are authorizing your refund immediately. However, depending on the bank or payment company It may take up to 7 business days to receive your refund.

Cancellation Policy: Please refrain from changing or cancelling classes once your schedule is confirmed. Our mentors have set schedules which we need to respect. But if you must, please be sure to cancel classes more than 24 hours in advance. If you cancel a class within 24 hours, you will lose the lesson credit.

NOTE: Teachers may change in the middle of a package. It is not guaranteed your teacher will teach the entire subscription length.
